The bleak snowy days to the bright summer sun
Her sight blanketed grey as she watches from her prison
No one can reach out to her
Her heart has frozen out of reach

The cunning demon appears every turn of the moon
It's dark coal eyes are mocking her
It's haunting cruel smile teasing her
Chilling triumphant cries echoes in its victory song
She watches the horror unfold around her helplessly
Her throat is raw and her objective screams are silent

Memories of warmth flowing through has dissipated
The hope of her bright knight rescue fades into the night
The wishing stars in her sky have fallen to the ground
Her days no longer glimmer as they slowly come to a shivering halt
As the princess loses her fight and exhales her last frosty breathe
While the demon wins the battle for her soul over a broken promise
